Making dreams come true
-A A +AFriday, March 15, 2013
FOR the last couple of years, events like weddings, debuts, corporate launches and other grand celebrations have reached a higher level, thanks to event organizers who make sure that these events are made truly special, eventful and memorable.
And true enough, lately, our society has become a lot busier that the need for event/wedding organizers has increased since they are instrumental in taking off the stress of making a special event “your dream event.”
This year, Wedding Zone Events Coordinator, one of Cagayan de Oro's most sought-after event organizers that specializes in weddings, and ABS-CBN Cagayan de Oro are organizing two dream events, the First CDO Event Suppliers' Night on March 19 at Grand Caprice Ballroom and a grand Mass Wedding on May 24.
Wedding Zone Events Coordinator is a one-stop bridal shop owned and managed by Marichu Jaca-Bacus and a certified wedding planner in Cagayan de Oro City and a member of PAWP and Kasal.com.
The PAWP is an organization of qualified wedding planners and coordinators all over the Philippines that pledge to uphold the integrity and high standards of business ethics, and promote the upliftment of wedding planning as a respected and honored profession.
Wedding Zone Events Coordinator, which has been in the business for almost a decade now with branches in Tagbilaran City, Bohol and Camiguin Island, has earned the credibility, trust and respect of our satisfied clientele, the public, the suppliers and the whole wedding industry.
With this, Wedding Zone has realized it’s time we give back something to the movers of this thriving industry by organizing the Event Suppliers' Night, the first ever in Cagayan de Oro.
The fellowship is open to all event/wedding planners/organizers, wedding suppliers from bridal shops, jewelry shops, beauty shops, printing and souvenir shops, salons, beauty centers fitness centers and spas; wedding attire designers, event stylists, hair and make-up experts, photographers, videographers, hosts, wedding singers and bands, florists and other suppliers related to wedding receptions like hotels, banquets and caterers, wedding cakes, lights and sound system, party needs (candles, balloons and confetti and favors), photo booths, and even honeymoon-related suppliers like travel agencies.
The event will be a great venue for wedding suppliers to come together and celebrate, at the same time widen their network of suppliers and contacts, as well as create new business opportunities.
The most important part of the event will be the Mass Wedding project of the group, tentatively set on May 24.
The funds for the project will come from the proceeds of the ticket sales of the Suppliers’ Night and subsidized by Wedding Zone.
The Mass Wedding is the industry’s way of giving back to the community by providing underprivileged couples the chance to experience the holy sacrament of matrimony and the perks of a real wedding for free.
And since this project is also presented by ABS-CBN Cagayan de Oro in line with its 18th year anniversary, the two dream events will be covered live and aired on television.
Such is the significant role of ABS-CBN, that after Wedding Zone’s TV guesting in Pamahaw Espesyal last March 12 and the live guesting at MOR last March 13, we have received more than 20 inquiries in a span of one hour from couples who, for years, have always wanted to be married in church. And that’s when we realized that for a lot of couples, the dream of having church wedding remains.
With the inspiration to make dreams come true for others, Wedding Zone, along with all the expected participants of the 1st CDO Suppliers’ Night, are committed to come up with the most memorable Mass Wedding ever.
So on May 24, 2013, we will not just organize a special event…. we will make dreams come true.Mary Globien Capillan-Salcedo
