LEGENDS are powerful things.
They bring with them a taste of the world that came before our own and inspire us to be more than we are. Now and again, there comes a time when these age-old tales influence someone to create a story of their own.
When it comes to these stories, it goes without saying that they never
fail to entertain.
An adaptation based on the legend of Cagayan de Oro City, features a dialogue composed entirely of the Visayan dialect and dances specifically tailored after traditional Mindanao dances, this performance seeks to depict the time-honored practices of our ancestors.
While Rosevale School has done plays before with their stunning adaptation of Les Miserables, this production will definitely be something different.
The dances and the songs that this play has to offer are truly a delight.
With stellar direction from Nicole Abas-Datayan, choreography from Raul Prima, and music and dance instruction by Zamir Balacy, this show is guaranteed to bring its audiences one truly unforgettable act.
Thrilling battles and a dynamic performance are what this play is ready to offer, so be sure to check it out this coming Saturday, February 25, at the Rodelsa Hall, Liceo de Cagayan University, and witness the past make its dramatic return to the present in an epic display of talent and determination.
