The Sun.Star family was one witness how this perfect hideaway can wash away our troubled minds and spirits as we had our recent summer getaway and team building activities in this paradise, aptly called as Midway White Beach Resort.

The activity’s aim of fostering awareness and reinforcing commitment to Sun.Star’s goals and objectives has indeed, been achieved, what with the conducive atmosphere Midway White Beach Resort offers.

The 31-year-old resort is owned by the Echavez family. It is indeed a perfect place to nourish the body and mind and to develop strong interpersonal relationships with team members.

When we arrived just before lunch time, everybody was amazed with the different amenities that every sports enthusiast would surely love to try. We were greeted by different people enjoying the newly-renovated resort.

As we settled our things in the cottage near the shore, some of us cannot help but indulge ourselves in the blue-green waters, not minding the scorching heat of the sun.

Others also trekked around looking for beautiful areas to strike a pose, in the hope of having something to show off on Facebook.

Borge Echavez, owner of the resort, greeted us with warm hospitality and gave us big discounts while using his facilities.

Echavez offered his glass-bottom boat for us to explore the sea, plus jetski, kayaks and even his 250-meter zip line to make us feel satisfied with our stay.

To further serve Midway White Beach Resort’s growing clients, Mr. Echavez is personally managing the resort’s renovation activities as he plan to add more rooms where guests can stay while relaxing at the white sand.

After lunch time, everybody, including the whole production team, had a grand time playing on the white sands while following every command of our ever-understanding general manager, Ms. Emily G. Goyeneche.
After taking part in the competitive activities, winners were declared and everybody had fun memories to remember.

With Midway’s tranquil atmosphere, tight security and friendly staff, the Sun.Star family went home with a feeling of interdependence among team members and everyone felt like being in the same boat together.
