Nestled along A.S. Hayes Guillermo St. in Cogon, the Rhapsody Suites recently held its soft opening and is now open to provide a reinvented traveling experience to tourists, merchants, businessmen and those who prefer clean and spacious rooms at affordable rates.
The Rhapsody Suites offers affordable rooms for as low as P500 per day that comes with a free Wi-Fi, PABX telephone, individual hot and cold shower, and slim-fit cable TV.
Also available are suite rooms for only P1,300 where guests can enjoy additional accommodation as every room comes with a dining area, refrigerator and 32-inch flat screen cable TV.
The Rhapsody Suites is owned by the Abalos family. It is formerly the residence and boarding house of City Tourism Board Rhia Rita Abalos who meticulously transformed her place into a four-storey, 32-room Bohemian themed pension house.
Paolo Querol, Rhapsody Suites general manager for sales, says the pension house’s name is taken from the initials of the Abalos – Rh for Rhia, A for Abalos, P for Pedro (husband), S for Sheryl (daughter) and DY for Dana Yacapin (daughter).
“Ma’am Rhia made it sure that the pension house would provide comfort to our guests just like when they are staying in an expensive hotel,” Querol says.
He says Rhapsody Suites wants to leave an impression of good and quality service to tourists and guests.
Setting apart from other competitors, Rhapsody Suites has its own elevator for the convenience of guests at the same time provides accessibility to persons with disabilities. It also has a standby generator and deep-well as added amenities.
Querol says they also have a function room for meetings, group activities or parties that can accommodate 40 persons.
Guests are invited to witness Rhapsody Suites’ grand opening on January 28.
