Educhild parents assembly for Rosevale School set

ROSEVALE School in Cagayan de Oro City will hold its first parents assembly for School Year 2017-18 with a parenting seminar on Saturday morning.

The seminar is in partnership with Educhild group and will be held at the school’s uptown campus multi-purpose hall along Masterson’s Avenue, Upper Balulang.

The parenting semina,r dubbed as ‘Strong Not Sheltered’, is set at 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

“The half-day event will give opportunities to parents to reflect on family goals and make plans of action with their children,” said organizer and Rosevale school official Brylle Dadang

Couple Manuel and Marie Escueta of Educhild will run the parenting seminar. Educhild is a non-stock, non-profit organization that runs courses and workshops for couples and families at any stage of their marital journey.

Besides the "Strong Not Sheltered" seminar for school parents, the group also runs popular programs which include Family Visioning, Beyond I Do and First Steps.

Manuel Escueta is a veteran of corporate and consumer marketing. He is also the former president and CEO of Pascual Laboratories. He has wide experience in bringing up his family in different countries as he used to work for the multi-national company Proctor and Gamble.

He is an advocate of the importance of family in education and is currently the president of Educhild and at the same time a member of the Southridge School for Boys board.

Marie however is a consultant in Human Resources and Organizational Development. Before she got involved with EDUCHILD, and becoming self employed, she worked for large companies like San Miguel, PNOC, and Vitarich.

Manuel and Marie have been married for 37 years and are blessed with five children and three grand children.

Registration fee is P100 per couple. Registration is at the Rosevale School office. (PR)
