CAGAYAN de Oro has experienced a little rain shower Thursday afternoon though it lasted only for a few seconds.

According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), the rain was caused by the end of a cold front which made the clouds to develop.

However, Lito Belarmino, Pagasa weather forecaster, said the rainy season might start earlier this season.

He said if the cloudy weather would continue, rain would start to pour.

Pagasa’s forecast Thursday showed that Mindanao will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms while the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorm.

It further said moderate to occasionally strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Luzon, Visayas and Eastern Mindanao as the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to occasionally rough.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate blowing from the Northeast to east with slight to moderate seas.
