Odd Fellows in Oro to help ‘Sendong’ victims

THE Sovereign Grand Lodge Independent Order of Odd Fellows from America visited different evacuation centers in Cagayan de Oro City on Tuesday to assess what assistance it can provide for victims of Tropical Storm Sendong.
Delmar L. Burns, Sovereign Grand Master of Odd Fellow, said they will ask for donations through the help of their lodges (members) in Canada, United States of America.
“Whatever they would give is what we will send here in Cagayan de Oro to our lodges (members),” Burns said.
The odd fellows is composed of men, women and youth who believe in a supreme being, the creator and preserver of the universe, and who have the same beliefs and values as others.
Among the basic guidelines that the odd fellows follow are friendship, love and truth. (Michael Andrew W. Yu)
