Enforcers nab big-time female drug pusher

AN ALLEGED big-time and notorious female drug pusher was arrested Saturday by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Northern Mindanao in Opol town, Misamis Oriental.
Mercy M. Sebial, 46, separated, a resident of Block 20, Lot 35 Vamental Subdivision, Barra Opol, in Misamis Oriental, was arrested during a buy-bust operation conducted by the PDEA agents.
PDEA Regional Director Roberto Opeña said Sebial is considered as top-listed drug personality of PDEA based on the monitoring of her illegal activity.
Sebial was arrested on Saturday around 3:30 p.m. after selling a sachet of shabu to undercover anti-narcotics agents worth P500.
PDEA agents also seized 17 pieces elongated and square sizes of transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu with estimated amount of P40,000 and P500 bill used as marked money from the possession of Sebial.
Sebial was arrested seven months ago by the City Intelligence Detection Unit of the Cagayan de Oro City Police Office for the same violation.
Sebial is now temporarily detained at the mini-cell of PDEA-Northern Mindanao pending the filing of charges today, Monday, for violation of Republic Act 9165 known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The confiscated drugs and non-drug evidences were brought to the Philippine National Police Crime Laboratory. (Annabelle L. Ricalde)
