Fire razes wood company in Tagoloan

A FIRE broke out at Timber Wood Development Corporation in Barangay Muhon, Tagoloan town in Misamis Oriental Tuesday afternoon, putting a halt to particle board production at the plant.
Tagoloan Fire Station crew Senior Fire Officer 1 Edward Salvacion told Sun.Star Cagayan de Oro the fire started at the broiler facility around 1 p.m.
“It would probably take long to put out because what was burnt was the main plant and there are many stockpile in the falcata,” he added.
As of this writing, firemen from government and private agencies are cooperating in putting out the fire.
Cost of damage is yet to be determined by arson investigators.
