Oro lawmaker leads turnover of multi-million projects

CAGAYAN de Oro Representative Rufus B. Rodriguez (2nd District) led on Monday a series of groundbreaking for various multi-million projects and turnover ceremonies in different villages in his district.
Rodriguez conducted the activities together with barangay officials in each locality and officials of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
The multi-million projects include the rehabilitation of access road to Berjaya 6th Resettlement Area in Barangay Camaman-an amounting to P14.7 million; construction of slope protection along Butuan City-Cagayan de Oro-Iligan City Road in Barangay Agusan worth P11.5 million; another construction of slope protection along Butuan City- Cagayan de Oro -Iligan City Road along Alae-Bugo Section in Barangay Bugo amounting to P14.1 million.
Rodriguez also led the groundbreaking for the concreting of farm-to market roads in Barangays Tablon amounting to P2.7 million; from Cugman going to Malasag Elementary School worth P1.6 million and another farm-to market road going to Molave Street amounting to P1.1 million.
Also held were the groundbreaking of several infrastructure projects and multi-purpose buildings in different barangays.
Rodriguez also led the turnover of the the newly rehabilitated RN Abejuela-Corrales Sts. roads along South Divisoria amounting to P8.9 million, rehabilitated damaged paved Management System/HDM-4 in Sayre Highway Barangay Puerto worth P4.1 million, the newly rehabilitated Bitan-ag Creek and drainage system in Barangay Lapasan amounting to P4.7 million.
At least 23 various projects broke ground and turned over by Rodriguez with a total budget of P170 million taken from his Priority Development Assistance Fund. (ALC)
