‘Hacking’ suspect turns self to police

A 34-YEAR-OLD man surrendered to police after he allegedly hacked his uncle and cousin on Wednesday afternoon in Tagoloan town, Misamis Oriental.
Police Officer 1 Ricardo Molijon of Tagoloan Municipal Police Station said Reggie Tembol, a resident of Zone 3, Barangay Muhon in Tagoloan town, voluntarily surrendered after the incident.
The victims were identified as Danilo Lumindas who sustained hack wounds in different parts of his body and his daughter identified only as “Lang-lang.”
Tembol, according to Molijon, hacked his uncle with an axe after a heated argument on Wednesday at around 5:45 p.m.
“Naapil ang iyang ig-agaw kay nag-pacify man sa away nila sa iyang uncle,” he told Sun.Star Cagayan de Oro.
The suspect is now detained at the mini-cell of Tagoloan Municipal Police Station pending the filing of appropriate charges.
Police said the victims’ family has not yet reported the incident nor filed any complaint against the suspect. (Annabelle L. Ricalde)
