Ex-constabulary member shot to death

A RETIRED member of the Philippine Constabulary was shot to death by still unidentified men on Sunday at Zone 3 Barangay Agusan, Cagayan de Oro City.
Police Officer 1 Eldenilo Lumantas, of Police Station 6 Puerto, identified the victim as Romeo Domingo, 63, a resident of said place.
Lumantas said Domingo succumbed to eight gunshot wounds in the different parts of his body, particularly in the head that resulted in his death.
The incident happened around 12:10 p.m. but no one can identify the suspects.
Personnel of the Scene of the Crime Operatives recovered eight empty shells of a still undetermined caliber of firearm.
Probers are still conducting an investigation to determine the identity and motive of the gunmen in the killing of Domingo.
Meanwhile, the victim’s son, Engineer Roy Domingo, offered a cash reward of P200,000 for those who could identify and pinpoint the killers of his father.
“Kung kinsay nakaila sa nagpusil sa akong papa mohatag ko og P200,000,” he said.
