Lawmaker turns over health centers

AFTER turning over some P170 million various projects in different barangays in the second district, Cagayan de Oro Rep. Rufus B. Rodriguez recently turned over 13 Health Center buildings under the Department of Health (DOH) amounting to P20.5 million.
These include the P1.9 million completions of existing health center building in Tablon; P1.9 million completions of existing health center in Cugman; another P1.4 million in Taguanao and Tibasak in Macasandig; and P2.4 million for the completion of HCC building in Nazareth.
Another completed health center buildings were the P1.4 million in Barangay 7 and P1.9 million in Barangay 15.
Rodriguez also leads the groundbreaking of the P1.4 million construction for new health center buildings in Barangay Camaman-an; another P1.4 million each in Barangays Taguanao, Consolacion, Macabalan and Puntod; P898,000 renovation of a health center in F.S. Catanico and P788,000 repair of the existing health center in Barangay 31.
Meanwhile, Abante Mindanao Rep. Maximo B. Rodriguez Jr. along with DOH Assistant Regional Director Dr. Jose Llacuna has turned over at least 11 health centers in the first district of Cagayan de Oro amounting to P15.5 million.
The health center buildings were located in Barangays Bonbon, Bayabas, Kauswagan, Carmen, Macanhan, Pagatpat, San Simon, Mambuaya, Lumbia, Taglimao and in Xavier heights.
Rodriguez said aside from the infrastructure projects, they would also give priority to the health of the people in the barangays by constructing health centers.
