OPERATIVES of the Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (Cocpo) Special Operations Group and Anti-Theft and Robbery Section arrested on Thursday one of four frustrated murder suspects in Barangay Bulua.
Police Senior Inspector Harvey S. Abellanosa identified the suspect as Domiciano B. Lumactud, 32, a resident of Zone 6 Lower Bulua who was arrested around 4 p.m. with the help of the Barangay Intelligence Network.
Abellanosa said the arresting team was armed with a warrant issued by Judge Emmanuel P. Pasal of the Regional Trial Court Branch 38 for frustrated murder with a recommended bail of P200,000.
Court records showed that Lumactud, along with his co-accused Romel B. Lumactud, Alvin L. Piagola and Gregorio L. Pailoga Jr., “conspired each other and allegedly stabbed Ryan Lumactud” with a knife who was hit in different parts of his body.
The three other suspects are still at large as of press time.
Lumactud is now temporarily detained at the Maharlika Detention center.
