Police on full alert on All Saints', Souls' days

Hitosis said all places of major convergence such as terminals, seaports and airports, cemeteries, churches, beach resorts and malls will be provided with appropriate police personnel.
He said when the situation requires, police officers assigned to perform administrative functions are expected to remain on standby for immediate deployment.
Hitosis also said all provincial and city directors were directed to coordinate closely with other government agencies, radio groups, accredited non-government organizations and other volunteer groups in ensuring the safety and security of motorists and in providing immediate assistance to the public.
“Even the senior PNP officers from Camp Alagar will also be dispatched to supervise and monitor the security preparations of all police units and offices in the region,” he said.
But even with this, Hitosis advised the public to be also vigilant and be on guard.
