THE Philippine National Police (PNP) in Northern Mindanao is now ready for the upcoming national Annual General Inspection-Operational Readiness Security Inspection (Agi-Orsite) for 2012 on Monday, November 5.
PNP Regional Director Chief Superintendent Gil J. Hitosis said the inspection will be spearheaded by the PNP’s Internal Affairs Service (IAS) with representatives from the different PNP Directorial Staff as members.
Hitosis said the Agi-Orsite will be conducted by inspectors from Camp Crame to check on the PNP records and operation readiness of police in case of critical incidents such as bank robberies and hostage-taking.
He said inspectors will also check whether police personnel are complying with the correct wearing of uniform and with other directives or policies of the national office.
Hitosis said this year’s inspection is based on the scorecards and dashboards of police units and offices, geared in attaining the stages of the PNP Integrated Transformation Program-Performance Governance System (ITP-PGS), known as Patrol 2030, or Peace and order Agenda for Transformation and upholding the Rule of Law.
He said several preparations were already conducted such as seminar workshop on Cascading the Enhanced Scorecard of PNP personnel from the top ranks down to its provincial and city police offices, police stations and units.
The Agi-Orsite is a simultaneous activity in the country to be held in line with the PNP’s drive for continued improvement among its personnel in response to crime and calamities.
As preparation, the PNP Northern Mindanao office has already conducted a pre-Agi-Orsite in all police units to ensure their preparedness.
