EMPLOYEES of the Cagayan de Oro City Hall mourn the demise of former mayor Manolo Z. Tagarda Sr., who succumbed to a lingering illness last January 2.
The 16th City Council, during its regular Tuesday session presided over by Acting Vice Mayor Ramon G. Tabor, adopted a resolution expressing the city’s most profound and deepest sympathy to his bereaved family.
The late Tagarda served as a member of the City Council from 1986 to 1998 and was Cagayan de Oro’s Centennial Mayor in 1998.
The codification of the city’s ordinances from 1945 to 1994 was among the legacies he left to the people of Cagayan de Oro City.
