Woman robbed, shot

A 44-YEAR-OLD woman died after she was shot by two robbers riding in tandem on Sunday evening in Barangay Kauswagan, Cagayan de Oro City, police said.
Police identified the victim as Alma Naguita, a resident of Barangay Kauswagan and a cashier of a mini-mart in Barangay Carmen. She succumbed to a gunshot wound from a 9mm pistol.
Naguita was rushed to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), but was declared dead on arrival.
Police initial investigation showed that Naguita was on her way to her house when two suspected robbers riding in tandem shot her and carted away her bag with an undetermined amount of money.
Authorities are still conducting an investigation on the incident.
