LBC outlet robbed

SUSPECTS armed with rambo knife and handgun barged into an LBC outlet in Barangay Gusa Monday noon and divested the courier company of P5,000 cash.
Police Senior Inspector Ivan Viñas, station commander of Agora Police Station 3, said two men on board a red motorcycle with no plate number staged the daring robbery, which occurred at 12:45 noon.
LBC customer associate Charice May Regina told police that the two suspects entered LBC office and pretended to be clients.
Regina said after a few seconds, the two suspects declared hold up and asked her not to shout.
Regina was alone when the robbery was carried out.
She told police that one of the two suspects jumped over the glass counter and took the company’s P5,000 income of the day and fled towards the west portion of the city.
“Siya lang gyud usa ang naa sa opisina, ikatulo ang duha ka mga suspects kay wala man silay security guard,” Viñas told Sun.Star Cagayan de Oro.
One of the two robbers, who were captured in a video recording, was wearing a green jacket and covered half of his face with a white handkerchief while the other one wore a blue t-shirt and a blue bull cap.
Viñas claimed that the descriptions of the two robbers have a semblance with those involved in previous robbery incidents in the city.
However, he said they still have to verify it.
It was the third time that the Gusa branch of LBC has been robbed. The two previous incidents occurred in 2011 but police said no cases have been filed.
“They won’t even allow us to view their video footage. Nahimo pa namo nga lalis pero girespeto gihapon namo ang ilang desisyon nga dili mag-file og formal complaints,” Viñas said.
He said he is wondering why the management of LBC refused to file complaints despite the fact that some of its branches are constantly being robbed.
But even with this, Viñas said he already flashed an alarm to other police stations and units about the description of the two suspects and their getaway vehicle.
