Once fairy tales of sex and romance-A A +A

IN A time not so long ago, there live two teenage girls: Gerla the Gullible and Wilma the Wise. They were real people but with real names upheld because Gerla is 15 years old and Wilma, 17, practically under legal age. Supposedly innocent but apparently not, or at least not anymore.
Fortune and circumstances frowned upon the two girls, so separately they had no choice but to engage in working as nannies and house helpers to their masters. They may get minimal wages every month but it was decent nonetheless.
But young as they were, their youthful (and even childish) disposition takes over their being and during light and comfortable moments it shone profusely like coping with their missed childhood years. Until they bought cellular phones using their hard-earned money.
Indeed, technology has its advantages and possessing cellular phones are ways to connect the girls from their families living from afar. At first, it was always joyous for them to hear the voices and messages of their families and friends and then one of their friends introduced them in a unique clique referred to as “text clans.”
“Text clans” bear its many names depending which group a person plans to join or you were recruited. Most people joining in the clan groups are in their teens and twenties. Depending on which “clan” a person joins in, but in general these groups promise fun in texting and at the same time communicating with different people even they haven’t met or known yet in person.
It was in these “clans” Gerla and Wilma met and found romance, and it was also the reason they became Gerla the Gullible and Wilma the Wise.
Over time, Gerla and Wilma spent their free time (and even during work) talking and sending messages through their mobile phones their mysterious paramours who they only hear the voices in the other line, until such time they eventually met for the first time, it must have been quite love at first sight.
At first, they met with their significant others during day offs, later almost every afternoon or when their masters were away. But this is where Wilma differs significantly from Gerla, for Wilma was intelligent enough to know her limits, while Gerla was overwhelmed of “love” for the first time she felt away from home.
Then there were times that Gerla would meet her paramour even on the unholy hours of the night when everyone was asleep, and on her days off, she returned passed midnights to her quarters.
One day, their contracts ended and they were advised to go home together but Wilma was the only one who returned to their community, while Gerla escaped from the travel and instead run away with her guy, and since that day she was not seen nor contacted in her old phone number.
Roughly seven months have passed and Wilma was working again with another employer and for killing time, she still does talking and texting people in different clan groups she belong. There were romantic moments but she quickly dismisses any men hinting of meeting her with seductive innuendos leading to sex. Though she has a “boyfriend” in “long distance relationship” that she met also in clan groups, but perhaps having sex with him was not yet her priority when the guy asked her for them to meet “somewhere.”
And seven months later, Gerla returned to their community – three months pregnant – but the guy she decided to be with did not go with her. It seems that she will be taking care of her future child alone.
This story teaches us that we can be influenced by the kind of people within the group we joined, but we can always have freewill and a choice – it’s up to us how we use it.
