Oro Chamber to host security forum

THE Cagayan de Oro Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be hosting a half-day forum on security and safety for local traders on Thursday, March 25.
Security experts from the Philippine National Police and the Army's Fourth Infantry Division will discuss topics on effective and practical countermeasures e.g bomb threat, robbery and cyber crime handling, as well as updates about Northern Mindanao's crime situation.

"Juxtaposed to a growing economy is the rapid development of various technologies and means of transportation which would make crimes more sophisticated. Nevertheless, nothing beats prevention in combating crime," the Oro Chamber said in its invitation to its members.
The forum--free of charge for members in good standing--will take place at Marco Hotel from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
