THE Initiatives for Dialogue and Empowerment through Alternative Legal Services Inc. (Ideals) is set to hold a one-day seminar on Philippine Trade Policy for Media Practitioners on March 23 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Dynasty Court Hotel, this city.
The seminar aims to provide media practitioners with a framework/perspective on trade issues and allow them bring to light and made known to consumers the issues and challenges faced by local industries amid competition with other countries.

It specifically targets media practitioners as they play a crucial role in monitoring issues and forwarding information to the public.
The seminar would be conducted in partnership with the Cagayan de Oro Chamber of Commerce and Industry Foundation Inc. and the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mindanao (PCCI Mindanao).
The Ideals is a legal-focused non-stock, non-profit non-government organization that responds to issues on land rights, international trade and migration.
The seminar would be spearheaded by Ideals’ Economic Rights-International Trade Program in line with raising the awareness of the public on issues relating to international trade.
