THE Northern Mindanao Regional Athletic Association (NMRAA) Elementary boys football team can win the gold medal in the coming Palarong Pambansa in Antique province.
Team assistant coach Wilbert Racines Monday, April 17, said the boys are ready and they are aiming for no less than the gold medal. They also want to duplicate the region’s golden finish in Dapitan city in 2011.
Racines added that they are also aiming for the trip to Singapore, the prize for winning the Palaro gold.

The NMRAA boys are made up of 12 players from the Regional Palaro champion Bukidnon Province.
They also have four players from Cagayan de Oro city, two from Ginggoog and one from Malaybalay.
Holy Cross High School coach and team NMRAA supporter Martin Laurel described the team as big and tall with good individual skills.
“It is a promising team which is capable of top three finish. The players are tall, big and have skillful football abilities. They are tactically competitive in meeting the challenge of other strong Palaro contenders,” he added.
