THE 2nd Cagayan de Oro Inter-Public School Basketball Tournament will have its championship games tomorrow at West City Central School covered courts here.

For the first time, defending champion Cagayan de Oro National High School and Misamis Oriental General Comprehensive High School will clash for the secondary boys title.

This, as the City High Tigers of coach Bismark Labadan will try to snatch their second straight title in the league against MOGCHS Cavaliers in the main event set 4 p.m., Sunday.

Both the Tigers and Cavaliers finished their respective brackets unscathed to easily advanced in the finals.

Indahag National High School lady Skyhawks and MOGCHS BBG original lady Cavaliers will mark their fifth straight final rivalry in the distaff side at 2 p.m.

In their previous encounters, the lady Skyhawks completed a grand slam in the now extinct Oro SPEED Inter-public school league some two years ago, before scoring their first title win in the CdeO inter-public school league last year.

MOGCHS BBG has yet to settle a score against the mighty Indahag side.

MOGCHS Legends and Canitoan National High School will also face each other in the 15-under final at 3 p.m.

City Central School Stingers will try to complete a successful return as they take on Pagatpat Elementary School in the 1 p.m. curtain raiser.
