“Adunay mga commercial players nga nadugang so, mas exciting tingali kining atong Christmas league,” said tournament commissioner Dodong Caballero, obviously referring to Janjan Babiera, Boning Biongcog, Waway Arocha and Big Boy Taboclaon, among others.
On Sunday, Misamis Oriental Governor Yevgeny Vincente "Bambi" Emano will grace the club’s season-ending conference with no less than his MisOr team out to play a friendly match with Ballpals selection at 3 p.m.
Host chairman Placido Floirendo of Barangay 24 is expected to assist the sports-loving governor in giving out the "Allen Dangcal individual awards" to deserving players of the last "Baby James Cup" Fiesta Conference.
Past club presidents James Abucejo, Dandan Guevara and Bado Legaspi and barangay chieftains Gigi Go, Dolor No.9 and Fernando Abapo have also extended their all-out support to the long-surviving and time-tested Ballpals Club, which is one of the oldest and most popular ballclubs in the City of Golden Friendship.
“Without sa hilom nga suporta sa atong mga godfathers dili gyod magahom ni Stev Panaz ang pagdumala sa usa ka showbiz nga ballclub sama sa Ballpals,” the club president said.
