SO YOUNG but 19-year-old Jay-R Daguio of Davao City never failed to entertain the crowd in the Repsol Road Circuit held for the first time in Cagayan de Oro some weeks ago, at the back of SM City's ground.

In what had been an awesome display of motor skills and daredevil acts off the dangerous curves, Daguio almost swept all the race events, winning the Open 4 Strokes, the 125 Automatic Superstock and 125 SS Underbone.

FOLLOWING their victory in the recently concluded 1st Dongkoy Emano Cup inter-barangay basketball tournament, Barangay Lapasan now looks forward to developing a basketball program for their youth.

Barangay chairman Omar Labuntog said he will be meeting with the coaching staff of the village's two basketball teams to map out the program to be financed through Youth Council funds.
