HERE'S another list of native expressions popular among Kagay-anons:
Duol sa luwag - Near or close to somebody to get favor.
Ni hay-ni hoy - Neither here nor there.
Saoy-Saoy - Walking back and forth.
Maghilak sa dugo - Even if you cry with blood, I will not give you what you want.

Hiloy ug mata - Sleepy eyes.
Ang barahan sa Dios ana ra ning kalibotan - God's measure or judgement is in this world.
Dies-onse (10-11) - A person who talks with exaggeration.
To refresh the minds of the readers a little bit, here are some of the expressions in the list given earlier:
Kolero - One-half centavo.
Bibo - Lively; in Cebuano, Alegre
Pachada - Beautiful, pretty could be a person or things such as a dress.
Lunsay Kagayanon - Somebody who belongs to an old family; from the Velez, Chaves, Neri, Roa, etc.
Dao-Bi - No exact meaning; could be therefore, so what. (Only Kagay-anons use this word).
Simba ko! - God forbid!
Tino-ohan sa Buktot - Out of this world, unbelievable story.
Ang Agta Nalata - "No news is good news". Agta is a legendary black creature.
Nawong sa Agta - In the old days when children took a swim in the river and they come dark and tanned, the mother usually say, "Nawong ka na sa agta."
Tambaloslos-- Uncouth, ill mannered.
Otok sa Bolinao - One who is slow to learn or understand. (Bolinao is a very small fish)
Kalay-kalay - One who thinks and acts crazy, like the "buang-buang."
Sebelianahon - Somebody who acts stupid but not necessarily one.
Ibala sa kanyon-- This is an expression of the elderly. "Tigulang na ko, mahimo na ko ibala sa kanyon."
Pigok - (In Cotabato Pigik) This is a fish, a gift of the Cagayan River. It tastes heavenly but is now P700.00 per kilo. It is, however, worth the price.
Suwakan - He who eats much, never satisfied.
Antilahaw - Bright yellow bird. It means a woman who is over dressed, over made up.
Kagayanon verbs - Lakaw-lakaw, Sulti-sulti, katawaha, kantaha.
