ALEGRIA Hills, the first Ayala Land community in Mindanao, opens its gates to families and friends for a day of summer fun under the sun.

Activities like kite-flying, biking, painting for kids and a barbecue party can be enjoyed near the recently-completed chapel in the grove.

Families will also be treated to guided tours around this premier subdivision.

Children will get to enjoy the kite-flying activity and experience the uniqueness of the subdivision’s underground utilities by flying kites in Alegria Hill’s unhampered skies. This kind of development is the first of its kind in Cagayan de Oro and the system is designed to last a lifetime and is maintenance-free.

The gently rolling hills and the highland breeze will surely make kids want to take the biking challenge at Alegria Hills’ roadways. These roads were built in accordance with Ayala standards, with widths ranging from a maximum of 20 meters at the main entrance to 6.6 meters in tertiary roads, with a thickness of 0.18 meters.

Art enthusiasts will surely enjoy the painting sessions given Alegria Hills’ scenic location. The community affords its future homeowners the panoramic view of the city and Macajalar Bay as well as the natural beauty of the rolling terrains. Children will be given basic art lessons for free and can try their hands at making artwork.

Throughout the day, families and friends will be treated to barbecue and more.

Alegria Hills inaugurated its chapel in the grove last March 14 where the first mass in the chapel was officiated by the Archbishop of Cagayan de Oro. On the same day, the groundbreaking ceremonies were held on the future site of the community’s grand clubhouse.

Alegria Hills is the first Ayala Land Premier community in Mindanao. This premier residential subdivision follows the theme of Organic Tropical Architecture and is a joint development project with the Boniao and Murillo families. With its entry, Cagayan de Oro joins other key areas that boast of the Ayala Land Premier communities such as Ayala Alabang, Dasmarinas Village, Forbes Park Makati, Ayala Westgrove Heights, Ayala Greenfield Estates, Amara, Ayala North Point, The Residences at Greenbelt, One Serendra and Anvaya Cove, among others.
