A STRATEGIC two-hour financial and wealth management seminar will be conducted for business and professionals at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Mulberry Suites in Limketkai Center.

Topics are meant to raise awareness on the country's economic situation and widespread poverty, which is largely caused by the people's inadequate lack of education on financial and wealth management and the need to build home and family savings.

Entrepreneurs from the local chambers of commerce and industry, including media personalities from radio and television stations and newspapers, and local government employees, have been invited to attend the seminar.

Cebu City-based entrepreneur Jose Enrique Las PeƱas, a certified WFG financial planner and president of International Marketing Group (IMP), will be the main speaker.

Another WFG certified financial planner, Noel Arandilla, will discuss strategies for generating savings for meeting health care and retirement needs by men and women in Misamis Oriental.
