THERE was no stopping Jon-Jon Adlawan as he captured his eighth Expert Open Category title after ruling the 15th Leg of the MS Motosuit Motocross Series 2009—the 3rd Mayor Deogenes Derama Motocross Challenge held last Sunday in the southern Cebu town of Boljoon.

The victory virtually gave Adlawan the Expert Open title of the series and the huge edge to win the Rider of the Year Award in the annual awarding night in December.

Leaders

Adlawan, of the PSR Racing Team, earlier ruled the fist leg in Jubay, Liloan, the second leg in Agujo, Daanbantayan, followed by the fourth leg title in Calambua, San Remegio, the 6th leg title in Pina-mungajan, Cebu; the 7th leg championship in Ayungon, Negros Oriental, back in May.

Finishing behind Adlawan were Erwin Uypitching of the Rusi Racing and Jovanni Abellar.

The Intermediate Open Division title was won by Juvenille Abellar with Clark Wagas and John Flores placing second and third respectively.

Novice

Flores, meanwhile, won the Novice Open Production title over Ryan Querol and Dongkey San-chez. Adam Uypitching beat Sanchez and Querol respectively for the Beginners Open Production title.

Sanchez beat Bonnie Bustillo and Ray Querol for the Open Enduro title. Bustillo defeated Sanchez and Querol for the Local Enduro race.

Seigfred Ornopia took home another Executive A division title, beating Jun Enriquez and Dandan Gastador.
