MIGUEL Osmeña, only son of former Cebu City mayor and now south district Rep. Tomas Osmeña and City Councilor Margot Osmeña, has denied reports he’ll run for Guadalupe barangay captain.

Miguel O said he is busy setting up his business and has no plans to join politics.

Being the son of a congressman and a city councilor shouldn’t be a hindrance for Miguel O in joining politics.

Rep. Osmeña believes the reports came out because Guadalupe Barangay Captain Eugenio Faelnar is among three barangay captains being probed for the implementation of P156 million worth of projects in Tomas’s district.

But look, Miguel O has a bachelor’s degree in philosophy, summa cum laude, from the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA).
