A RENTAL and retail fashion store in Talisay City will hold a garage sale on Saturday, June 14, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Ramona Village 2.
The Florida Fashions is offering door prizes to the first 25 customers.
On Sunday, the store will hold Run Way Fashion Show 2012 from 2:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. in the Tabunok Sports Complex. Admission to the event is free, the store said in a press statement.
The Florida Fashions said it chose its name because all its items were purchased in Orlando, Florida. The store sells “barely-used” clothing, jewelry, bags and shoes.
The store was founded by Emily Abregana-Anaya, a full time special education teacher in Meadow Woods Middle School, Orange County Public School in Orlando. She once worked for UK fashion retail store Oasis in Bahrain.
“It is through that experience that she developed her visual merchandising, purchasing and daily store operational skills. Although, teaching is her first passion, she has huge desire and interests with fashionable clothing wear,” the store said in a press statement.
The store said the fashion show they will stage on Sunday will feature real life people who have never experience any professional modeling.”
“I think this event is a tool for ordinary people to experience how to be in front of a crowd, dress up to look good and feel good about themselves. And I hope that the Talisay community will come and enjoy our upcoming events,” said Abregana. (PR)
