Security Bank Savings starts operating

SECURITY Bank Savings (SBS), formerly Premiere Development Bank, has opened its doors in prime branch locations under a new name after receiving approvals from the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.

The thrift bank recently acquired by Security Bank Corp. (SBC) is expected to accelerate activities and services in pursuing the bank’s goal of broadening its branch network, scaling up its loan portfolio and expanding its customer base.

Products

Combined with the people and resources of its parent company, Security Bank Corp., SBS is expected to provide a wider range of consumer and retail products and a new enhanced level of customer service.

SBS aims to attract clients by offering banking services that are easy to access, affordable to avail and are fit to their needs. The bank will focus on servicing consumer retail segment as well as small and mid-sized business segments.

“The new Security Bank Savings has half a century worth of experience and expertise in providing sound advice and creative loan facilities for business, home and other personal needs. It started as an institution for small and medium enterprises, but has since expanded to consumer finance,” the company said.

SBS currently operates through its 38 branches located in Metro Manila, Cavite, Batangas, Bulacan, Laguna, Rizal and Quezon provinces. (PR)
