CEBU-BASED GT Cosmetics Manufacturing has tapped Airlift Asia Inc. (AAI) to become the company’s exclusive freight forwarder of its beauty products in the Visayas and Mindanao.

AAI, an ISO-certified logistics company, and GT Cosmetics signed an agreement last Oct. 17 at the GT Vis-Min plant in Liloan, Cebu.

With this development, GT Cosmetics said shipping of their beauty products from their plants in Cebu and Bulacan to other parts of the country will have “no more delays” as AAI has guaranteed a zero-delay service.

“We are now very confident that our shipment or cargo will reach their destination undamaged and on time,” said GT owner engineer Leonora Salvane. “With Airlift Asia’s services, our clients can now be assured of unlimited supply of our products.”

Trouble-free

“We guarantee GT seamless and trouble-free transportation of their products,” said AAI vice president for Vismin Marivic Esmero.

Airlift Asia is a Filipino-owned corporation with ISO certifications for quality management, environmental management, occupational health and safety management, and security systems. The airline company has a branch in Cebu, which caters to the requirements of customers in the Visayas and Mindanao.

As a result of its business expansion moves, AAI has set up satellite offices in Clark, Cavite, Laguna, and San Francisco, California, USA.

GT Cosmetics has slowly captured its market initially by word of mouth and lately through social media or “peer-to-peer” marketing since its establishment in 2004. The company, according to Salvane, has become “one of the sought-after” beauty products in the country today.

All GT Cosmetics products can be purchased in about 200 retail outlets nationwide.
