12 CCCI members to contest 9 seats

TWELVE members of the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry will vie for the nine seats available to complete its 21-person board of trustees and officers. The annual election of officers and trustees will be held during the 1st General Membership Meeting (GMM) for 2013 on Feb. 22 at the Victoria Hall, Cebu Parklane International Hotel.
In a press statement, the chamber named the following as candidates qualified to run for election from the respective sectors:
There are two seats available for the Industry Sector. Ramir Bonghanoy of BonAce Fashion, Inc., Joelix Ng of HMC Industries, Inc., and Apolinar Suarez, Jr. of Suarez Sterling Corp. are the candidates who will vie for the available seats.
For the Trade Sector, there are three seats available. The candidates qualified for the seats are Aljim Jamandre of Vicsal Development Corp., Regan Rex King of Jolli Traders International Inc., Bonifacio Sia of Cebu Bionic Builder Supply, Inc., and Felix Taguiam of Deco Sales, Inc.
Antonio Castro of Platinum Holdings, Inc., Herminia Go of AON Insurance and Reinsurance Brokers Philippines, Inc., and Mario Panganiban of VISMIN Advent Traders, Inc., are the candidates who for the three available seats for the Service Sector.
Only one seat is available for the Sectoral / Association Sector and its candidates are Venus C. Genson of Confederation of Philippine Exporters (Philexport Cebu) and Mary Anne A. Solomon of Outdoor Advertising Association of the Philippines. (PR)
