GLOBE Telecom launched in Cebu Tuesday night its customizable prepaid package GoSakto.
GoSakto can be availed of for as low as P7, with no price cap. Subscribers can enjoy call, text and surf or a mix of all services in over 2,000 combinations at a 1, 3, 7 and 30-day validity.
The type of calls and texts can be selected within Globe and Touch Mobile (TM) or across all networks, the number of text can be in bulk or unlimited while surfing
services are in megabytes or MBs of data.
The promo was opened on Feb. 6 in Manila followed by a series of roadshows in different regions.
According to Globe Prepaid head Kristelle Dizon, GoSakto is the first in the world and they don’t expect it to be replicated easily.
Dizon said GoSakto is a kick off for an “exciting Globe roadmap for 2013” directed towards consumers.
Dizon said the latest offer is intended to enhance all existing promos as these will be retained.
“When we made the *143# platform available to the market last year, we already envisioned a promo as robust and practical as GoSakto. It took us a year to finalize the promo with a lot of quantitative and qualitative studies. We created GoSakto because we felt it’s very useful,” Dizon said.
The *143# menu, which works for all handsets, is an option for Globe subscribers to access billing information, promos and other services.
Dizon is confident that GoSakto will help them meet double digit growth targets.
GoSakto is open to all Globe prepaid subscribers and registration is thru dialing *143#.
“The way we look at GoSakto, we’re able to keep our subscribers happy because we’re providing something relevant and compelling. In the long run, happy consumers translate to loyalty and stable business. Our innovations are motivated by our consumers,” Dizon said.
