USC-KNN expo to showcase products of entrepreneurs-A A +A
Monday, November 4, 2013
ENTERPRENEURS who are part of the USC Kapamilya Negosyo Na (USC-KNN) program will be displaying their products at the SM City Cebu Foodcourt on Nov. 8 to 10.
The USC-KNN 2nd Expo will allow program beneficiaries to showcase and sell their product or service to the general public. The event will also be a venue for the USC KNN board to validate the business plans, evaluate products or services and determine this year’s winners.
The program is meant to be a “vehicle for social transformation” by the University of San Carlos College of Commerce Alumni Association, Inc. The program has grown to become a venue for active and continuous education for aspiring entrepreneurs with limited resources.
Every year, the USC KNN program awards P10,000 in startup capital or working funds for feasible small and medium enterprises with business potential but with limited resources.
Organizers are inviting people to join any of the activities during the expo. Among those scheduled are baking and cooking demos as well as educational forums on skills training and development, business planning, marketing, production and operations. (PR)
