THE largest construction machinery manufacturer in China, the Xuzhou Contruction Machinery Group., Ltd. (XCMG), will enter the Visayas and Mindanao market with the opening of its exclusive distributor D’ Limitless Vehicle Ventures Corp on Juan Luna Ave. at the North Reclamation Area, Cebu City.

D’ Limitless Vehicle Ventures Group is a subsidiary of RDAK Transport Equipment, which has been in the business of supplying transportation and heavy equipment in the country for more than 20 years now.

Regan King, general manager of D’ Limitless Vehicle Ventures Group, said during the opening of the showroom Friday that the entry of XCMG in the Visayas and Mindanao will allow the construction industry access to quality and brand new construction equipment.

With surplus products from Japan having the same price with the brand new ones in China, King said RDAK has ventured into supplying brand new products from China through the D’ Limitless Vehicle Ventures Group.

“I know there are concerns about the quality of products from China. But let me tell you this, XCMG is a cut above the rest,” he said, adding that China’s transportation products have improved dramatically in the recent years and is now comparable to Korean brands.

He said XCMG’s numerous partnership with world-renowned brands in the construction machinery market such as Caterpillar, Meritor and PAT has given the company the expertise to produce quality and affordable heavy equipment.

As an exclusive distributor, D’ Limitless Vehicle Ventures Corp. will also be supporting the customers in after-sales services.

“Our goal is to help our customers invest in long-term machineries and equipment,” the company said in a statement.

Maintenance

The company is also ensuring corrective repairs and preventative maintenance, which as described, minimizes overall fuel and maintenance cost per kilometers. This avoids costly repairs later, which are key to getting the most return from truck owners.

To mark the entry of XCMG in the local scene, King said the D’ Limitless Vehicle Ventures Group will be accepting trade-ins from truck owners who want to dispose their units in exchange for a new XCMG product. The unit will first have to be assessed by the exclusive distributor, he said.

The official said the D’ Limitless Vehicle Ventures Group is also eyeing to open a satellite office in Mindanao possibly next year to serve the developments of the construction industry in the southern Philippines.

XCMG products include among others terrain truck cranes, crawler cranes, compactors, finishes, loaders, mini-loaders, backhoes, motor graders, excavators, drilling rigs and aerial fire platforms.

XCMG has been in the business for 24 years and now ranks fifth in the world construction machinery industry. It has a total of 26 factories in China and employs more than 20,000 people. It also owns 920 effective authorization patents, among which 27 are invention patents. Its goal is to exceed RMB300 billion in business income in 2015, rank among top three in the world construction machinery industry and step into world’s Top 500 enterprises.
