Filinvest turns over 270 San Remo Oasis units-A A +A

THOUGH they would have wanted to turn over their San Remo Oasis condominium units earlier, a magnitude 7.2 earthquake last October forced Filinvest Land Inc. to postpone their plans and have these checked for damage first.
Just a week after the quake, the OBO released the development’s safety certificate, but it took awhile to make sure the units did not sustain damages before these were turned over to their buyers. FLI finally turned over 270 condominium units of their San Remo Oasis development at the South Road Properties to its owners last Saturday.
San Remo Oasis is the economic condominium cluster of FLI’s Citta de Mare community at the SRP. The cluster occupies 3.4 hectares and will consist of nine five-story buildings once it is completed.
Visayas general manager Lydwena Eco told Sun.Star Cebu that these 270 units were located in Buildings 5 and 6 of the San Remo compound, with both buildings completely sold out. They also expect to fully turnover units in Buildings 4, 3 and 7 by next month.
All five buildings combined, Eco said the San Remo units have sold 95 percent of their project. They are expecting to launch Building 2 next month and complete the amenity area at around the same time.
Eco credits their attractive introductory prices and flexible payment schemes for the success of San Remo Oasis. “We are running out of inventory, but that’s a good problem to have,” she said.
Units range from P1.9 million to P2.5 million. They found that the easiest unit to sell is the two-bedroom.
Eco believes they have a good product, saying they have raised their price between 20 and 30 percent from its original price and yet they are still selling units.
The Citta de Mare is a 14-hectare mixed-use development. Eco said the first residents of the Citta de Mare are privileged, saying the future of Cebu City will be at the SRP. She added that the Citta de Mare is not the only good thing about living in the area, saying residents will enjoy the upcoming mall being built by SM and its other buildings being planned.
She promised a “drastic facelift” for Citta de Mare for this year, as they will also be completing their landscaping around the area. They are also in the process of completing the seaside development of the commercial area across the residential clusters.
Although they have turned over units to buyers, Eco said their showroom at the ground floor of the Grand Cenia in Archbishop Reyes Ave. is still open for those who want to see their condominium layout.
