Resort unveils app-A A +A

JPARK Island Resort & Waterpark (JPI), formerly known as Imperial Palace, has introduced a new travel mobile application.
“Cebu Travel Guide” is meant as a travel tool in Cebu and resort officials said it has more features than conventional travel and hotel mobile applications.
The app features JPI booking capabilities for accommodations and hotel information, including reservations for dining in any of JPI’s dining outlets as well as request for banquets and events.
For in-house customers, they are able to inquire on guest services such as transportation, dry cleaning, make up room and other amenities through the application.
“We wanted to be more than just a hotel app, that would be able to serve the travelers and the community, at the same time also include hotel information,” said Joy Ablanida, marketing officer of Jpark Island Resort & Waterpark.
One part of the Cebu Travel Guide’s app includes information about Cebu’s popular landmarks, heritage sites, shopping destinations and even hotels located within Cebu and Mactan.
Emergency contact numbers are also provided in the app.
“Basically, this is a very good promotion for Cebu’s resort tourism destination. Bear in mind that when you open the app, it is not about Jpark alone, but we are actually promoting Cebu,” Myra Mohammad, Director of Sales & Marketing of Jpark Island Resort and Waterpark said.
