USERS of the Apple iPad 3G or any other Internet device that requires a ‘micro-SIM’ may now avail themselves of the Smart Bro Prepaid micro-SIM. Smart Broadband, Inc. (SBI), the broadband unit of wireless services provider Smart Communications, Inc.
(Smart), recently announced that it now offers the Smart Bro Prepaid micro-SIM nationwide at P40.
“As Filipinos get their hands on powerful devices like the Apple iPad and discover their various features, they also realize how, to be truly maximized, these devices have to be powered by a superior broadband network - one that covers the entire country and is able to handle vast amounts of data transported wirelessly,” said Danilo Mojica, head of Smart’s Wireless Consumer Division.
The Smart Bro Prepaid micro-SIM is available in selected retailers nationwide. With a Smart Bro Prepaid micro-SIM, a subscriber using an Apple iPad may also take advantage of ‘unlisurf’ packages, enabling them to experience unlimited, high-speed Internet surfing at different subscription packages.
Smart Bro offers Unlisurf 100, or two days of unlimited Internet access for P100, and Unlisurf 200, which offers five days of access for only P200.
“We know that broadband subscribers now upload and download content that’s more robust than ever, such as videos, photos, and music. While we continuously fortify our networks and optimize available technologies to ensure service quality, we also strive to keep access as affordable as possible, and offering a variety of ‘sachet’ prepaid options is in keeping with this direction,” added Mojica.
To avail of the Unlisurf packages, prepaid subscribers can log on to Web Connect, www.smart.com.ph/connect, and click on the preferred package.
Soon, loading of any Unlisurf package may also be done via top-up from any of Smart’s network of over 1.3 million e-load sellers nationwide.
A one-peso Smart Bro balance must be maintained when availing of any of the UnliSurf packages.
Smart now serves, through SBI, over 1.32 million broadband subscribers all over the country – about 870,000 of which are on prepaid. (PR)
