WILL it be 0 for 2 for Michael Domingo?
Domingo, whose potential title bout with Fernando Montiel fizzled out, may lose yet another chance for a world title.
Unbeaten International Boxing Federation bantamweight champion Yonnhy Perez hasn’t signed a contract for a title fight with Domingo and ALA Promotions president Michael Aldeguer is worried that the much-awaited big break for his fighter may not materialize.

Aldeguer tried to contact Gary Shaw, Perez’s promoter, through international matchmaker Sampson Lewkowicz but they haven’t heard a word .
“I can’t call it off just yet but I already have my doubts because it’s already been too long from the time we sent the contract,” said Aldeguer.
Aldeguer was expecting Shaw’s reply last week.
Domingo, 30, already got a US visa and was set to leave for California on Feb.7 to train at Freddie Roach’s Wild Card Gym.
“There’s an 80 percent chance that it won’t happen. However, I’m still hoping something big will happen for Michael,” said Aldeguer. “It’s a waste but this is boxing and these things happen.”
Aldeguer believes that Perez is hesitant to face Domingo because of the latter’s record.
“It’s hard for Michael to get a fight because he has nothing to lose and everything to gain,” said Aldeguer.
Domingo, who has a record of 39-14-2 with 17 KOs, was supposed to take on Montiel for the World Boxing Organization bantamweight as Z Gorres’ replacement but the Mexican champion chose the inexperienced Ciso Morales.
