IN my Facebook post last week, I lamented the thought that the scene in the movie Can’t Help Falling In Love that was shot in Oslob would be edited out.
I personally saw the shooting so when the trailer didn’t feature the Oslob scene, I became doubtful.
However, I was proven wrong when I saw the entire movie. The Immaculate Conception Parish provided an imposing and majestic background to Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla and their two co-stars.
Other scenic spots of Cebu were also highlighted like the Argao municipal plaza, Dalaguete’s Osmeña Peak, Moalboal’s colorful corals, Boljoon’s church, Poro’s Boho Rock Resort, San Francisco’s Santiago Bay, Tudela’s Bukilat cave (the town’s name was spelled Tuleda in the credits though), and a few more.
Kathryn said that they spent a week traveling to and from Cebu City to shoot.
Indeed, the KathNiel tandem has ventured into a mature portrayal in this movie.
I was in Quezon City when the special screening of the movie Bliss was held at UP Diliman. However, it was late when I learned of the event. You can just imagine my disappointment.
Bliss had earlier received an X-rating from the MTRCB (Movie and Television Review and Classification Board) because of some scenes the board found ill-suited for public viewing. The rating has since been changed to R-18.
Cebu media viewed it in a special screening yesterday. Keep posted.
