‘Never Say Die’ coming to PH

Saturday, February 10, 2018

CHINESE movie followers—or anyone craving for fresh films—are in for a hilarious treat as the blockbuster hit “Never Say Die” will be shown in the Philippines.

The film, which stars Ai Lun, Ma Li, Shen Teng, Tian Yu and Xue Haowen, is said to be the highest-grossing comedy ever in China (US$334 million) and Hong Kong. It surpassed the $250 million earned by “Kung Fu Yoga,” which starred Jackie Chan.

Everything a film buff would enjoy in a film—action, romance, comedy and the supernatural—is present in the movie.

“Never Say Die” is a movie about a has-been Ultimate Fighting King (UFK) boxer who can’t seem to get a good fight, and a celebrity journalist in a bad romance.

But destiny somehow switched their bodies and they embark on a series of misadventures to fix their intertwined predicament.

This feel-good film will definitely awaken the Chinese movie aficionado in Filipinos. Released by Star Cinema, “Never Say Die” will arrive in cinemas nationwide starting Feb. 28. (PR)
