EPSON Philippines Corp. (EPC) yesterday opened in Cebu its second solution center and sales office in the country.
"Cebu has a large market demand not only in the retail segment but most especially for our corporate products. Cebu City is a significant metropolitan center in the country," said EPC senior manager Eduardo Bonoan.
The launch of the Cebu office marks Epson Philippines' territorial expansion in the country since it started in 1998.
EPC has an extensive network of 72 authorized service centers nationwide with more than 60 dealers and around 400 shots across the country.
"Fiscal year 2009 for EPC was a very good year with a lot of demand for our products especially in the Visayas area," Bonoan said. EPC has 31 dealers to date.
The new Epson Solution Center in Cebu offers products to address the requirements of customers and businesses.
Hideto Nakamura, country manager of EPC, said, "The center will be able to showcase not only the comprehensive Epson product line-up in printers and visual instruments but also provide solutions that will address your everyday business needs in terms of imaging."
The solution center is a display venue where Epson products provide users with business solutions through actual demonstrations.
With many small-medium size enterprises (SMEs) and small-office-home-offices (SOHOs) in Cebu, Epson believes that the center will play an important role in Cebu.
"Although Epson is already serving the broadest spectrum of the business sector, the company expands its products and services to the growing SMEs and SOHOs market as well," Bonoan said.
Aside from its Micro Piezo print technology, Epson also offers 3LCD technology, the world's number one in projectors for the past 10 years, according to a third-party research by Futuresource Consulting.
