Walkathon for women set this Sunday

THIS month, SM City Cebu has lined up series of events in honor of all the women of Cebu and their contributions to society, culture, business and politics.

In celebration of the International Women’s Month this March, a wide range of activities await all women at the lower ground floor fronting Watson’s Beauty starting today until March 11 with the launching of the “Everything is here. For Her,” where a woman will get an exclusive chance to pamper herself with beauty and wellness
consultation services.

A book exhibit entitled, “The Ladies of Cebu,” by the National Bookstore, and a “Pinay Pride dedication wall” is also available at the lower ground floor fronting Watson’s Beauty from March 9 to 11 during mall hours.

On March 11, SM City Cebu invites every woman to participate in the fitflop All Women Walkathon at 6 am.

The walkathon will start outside of The Northwing area, and will go one full round outside the mall. The event’s theme is “Get A Workout While You Walk” to encourage women to wear fitflop while walking.

Special awards will be given after the walkathon and winners will bring home discount coupons, energy drinks, and raffle prizes from GNC and fitflop.

One may join by purchasing a pair of footwear at the fitflop store at The Northwing area and present the receipt at the registration booth located at the upper ground floor of the main mall. Interested participants will have until March 10 to purchase a pair of fitflop.

The proceeds of each pair purchased at the store will go to ICanServe Foundation.
