Cebu bloggers group elects new officers

THE Cebu Bloggers Society Inc. (CBSi) elected the new set of officers who will serve the group from May 2012-May 2013.
The election was held during the CBSi general assembly last May 5 at Diamond Suites and Residences.
The new officers are Ruben Licera Jr., president; Bjornson Bernales, vice-president; Nancy Cudis, secretary; Wilhelmina Sarawi, treasurer; and Narciso Tapia, auditor.
The CBSi committee heads are Red Yumang for corporate affairs; Michael Sinjin Pineda for events; Mark Monta for membership; Agnes Jimenez for content management; and Bert Padilla for networks and linkages.
“CBSi has made milestones during the past year, such as the organizing of the Visayas Blogging Summit last November. This year, we will continue to make milestones and further gear the group toward its vision of becoming a world-class institution that promotes pride of Cebu through our passion for blogging,” Licera said.
Plans
After the election, the new officers will meet to craft year-long plans for the group.
The CBSi general assembly and election is supported by Globe’s Tatt Awards and Diamond Suites and Residences.
CBSi is a Securities and Exchange Commission-registered blogging organization in Cebu with over 40 members in its current roster.
The organization comprises professional bloggers and hobbyist bloggers with different niches.
