MORE than 50 children from Sitio Nazareth benefited from the feeding program organized by the Down Syndrome Association of the Phils. (Dsapi) Cebu chapter in partnership with the school administration, the Supreme Student Government and the family council of St. Louis College in Mandaue City.
The activity, which was held at the Verbis Hall of St. Louis College, was initiated in celebration of the Nutrition Month last July.
The children were treated to lunch and received school items as giveaways.
During the activity, a parenting talk was also conducted by the family council to the parents/guardians of the beneficiaries.
Kyla Paulo, a teen with Down Syndrome, performed a song for the kids.
The next Dsapi activity will be the early intervention seminar.
