MCWD offers no down payment promo

FOR the whole month of September, the Metropolitan Cebu Water District (MCWD) is offering a “No Down Payment Promo” to all new water service connection applicants.
The total processing fee for water connection is P4,950. Normally, MCWD collects P1,500 as down payment and the balance will be paid within one year, with an interest of 12.5 percent or 1.04 percent per month.
But within the promo, there will be no down payment to be collected from the applicant, and MCWD will install the water connection as long as the other documentary requirements are complied with.
The total processing fee will be paid in one year with the same interest rate and will be included in the monthly bill.
However, the promo is not applicable to those who will apply for a transfer of meter to another tapping point or a reopening of a water connection.
All water service applicants must attend the orientation seminar scheduled every Wednesday and Saturday at 8 a.m.-noon at the MCWD Main Building, Magallanes corner Lapu-Lapu Sts., Cebu City.
