Penafrancia novena masses begin Sept. 14

NOVENA masses for the Our Lady of Penafrancia, patroness of Bicolandia, will begin on Friday, September 14, at 6:15 p.m. at the Capitol Parish Church, Escario St., Cebu City.
The masses will run for nine days until September 22, to be followed the next day, a Sunday, with the fiesta mass to be celebrated by Bicolano priests.
The schedule of masses to be held at the Capitol Parish Church:
First novena mass - Friday, September 14, 6:15 p.m.
Second novena mass - Saturday, September 15, 5:30 p.m.
Third novena mass - Sunday, September 16, 5:30 p.m.
Fourth novena mass - Monday, September 17, 6:15 p.m.
Fifth novena mass - Tuesday, September 18, 6:15 p.m.
Sixth novena mass - Wednesday, September 19, 6:15 p.m.
Seventh novena mass - Thursday, September 20, 6:15 p.m.
Eighth novena mass - Friday, September 21, 6:15 p.m.
Ninth novena mass - Saturday, September 22, 5:30 p.m.
Fiesta day will be on Sunday, September 23, to be marked by a foot procession and the concelebrated mass. The procession will start from the Capitol Parish Church at 4 p.m. Mass will start at 5:30 p.m.
The Bicol Association of Cebu Inc. headed by its president, Fr. Jerome Cayetano, SVD, is organizing the fiesta activities.
All devotees to the Ina or the Our Lady of Penafrancia are invited to attend the fiesta activities and masses.
